Fall get-together

Well, somehow by the time I got the photo's to the blog, I couldn't write anything below them. Last weekend was a lot of fun for me. My cousin Linda ( from Chicago) came on Thursday afternoon. On Friday she went with me on my Red Hat group outing. We had lunch at the Antiquity Rose restaurant in Excelsior, Minnesota. After that we went to the niece's home on Lake Minnetonka. It is a beautiful home, quite old, but fixed up very, very nice. Long ago it was a Christian Women's retreat. We had planned on going on a pontoon ride, but the weather was very windy so we didn't want to take a chance. Had a nice tour of the home, a nice dessert and just some fun visiting.

Linda and I then met my sister Donna for dinner and a visit at her house. Then on Saturday my Sweet Adeline chorus were the guests of the LeRoy Men's Barbershop chorus show in Austin, MN at the renovated Paramount theatre. It was a thrill for me to have such a good showing of support in the audience. My Aunt Liz, cousin Pat, cousin Linda, brother Jerry, sister Donna, friends Gemma, the other Donna De For and Gerianne. On Sunday my family and Gemma came over to Rochester for a brunch at my house. So it was a very nice weekend.
