My trip around the Twin Cities!

Okay! I meant to write this at the beginning of the week. So much for good intentions.

Sat. May 3rd @ 9:15 am

I went to Wooddale church and listened to the last rehearsal before the choir was to leave for the Ukraine on Sunday. They sounded really good and I loved the selection of music. After it was over, Donna introduced me to some of her good friends and then we went for lunch. I knew she had a lot of last minute things to do so I didn't go to her home, instead I went to the Eden Prairie mall and then traveled up 169 to Maple Grove, MN. What a neat town that is. I did a little looking around there and met some of my Sweet Adeline friends for dinner at a really neat Irish Pub for dinner. After that I traveled on 694 to Willernie and stayed over night at my Aunt Liz's.

On Sunday morning we visited and then she took me on a tour of Willernie in her and Pat's "Patty Wagon". It is a golf cart and they have decorated it with a pink ruffle around the top, and it has a bouquet of flowers in the front. Everyone looks and waves when you go by. It probly looked a little funny to have two gray haired ladies going around the streets of Willernie in a decorated golf cart. It sure was fun though. We also went down town and had lunch at a new little Deli shop.

Then around 2:15 pm we went down and picked up Pat with her GPS named "Sweetie" and went to Emily's baby shower at our cousin Diane's new home in Blaine. It was a lot of fun and Diane and Dave's new home is just beautiful. They have a pond in the back and on the other side of it is a field. They have lots of wonderful storage too.

Then it was back to drop off Pat and go to Aunt Liz's to get my things and home. So I made a complete circle around Mpls and St Paul.

It was nice to hear from Donna a couple of times. I know it is getting closer now to when she will be seeing Hans, Rachel and the grandkids. I know she will totally enjoy that time.

My daughter, Lynn and I both had Pedicure's yesterday. It was her Mother's Day gift for me. It just feels so good. They will be coming tomorrow for dinner also. Keith is on the Railroad I think on a trip to Fargo and back.
