Yesterday my Sweet Adeline chorus had a very fun afternoon event. It was fairly simple in planning and cost. It certainly went over very well. I'm sure we will try it again, possibly next Valentine's weekend.
I have to say that my Great Niece was so much fun to have there in the audience. She was just an "angel". The entire first half (30 minutes) she sat on her Grandma's lap and just watched and clapped. During the break we put her in a hi-chair and she was fun talking to and watching her smile and laugh.
It was great for me to be able to introduce some of my family to some of my chorus people. My Aunt Liz, who I have told many stories about, my cousin Pat, my sister Donna, my brother Jerry, and our very good friend Gemma.
It was a very fun day.
