WOW! Can't believe it's been almost a month since I posted about going to the twins game.
My Sweet Adeline's chorus had an afternoon show yesterday. It was called "One Fine Day" and we had a May Day Tea. We had a very nice crowd. I was surprised to see Donna De For from Austin with Betty Shue and Gwen Nack. They sat in the front row. Donna is going to have surgery on both knee's this coming Monday. Jerry also came and quite a few of my Red hat group.
I was on the committee to plan this event, I am also the President and chair of the music team. So all of this keeps me busy. Lot of things I do on the computer. My chorus is going to our annual competition coming up on May 21st/22nd. We are taking a bus from Rochester, picking up another chorus in St Cloud and continueing on to Winnipeg, Canada. I made the arrangements for my chorus to stay in the hotel, and the bus company details. So I have been busy with all of that.
This past Friday, my red hat group traveled to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts to an event called Art in Bloom. I believe my sister, Donna, is there right now with some of her friends. It was very nice. We walked around for about 2 1/2 hours and then went not too far away to a neat Greek restaurant. It was a fun day.
Tonight a couple of friends and I are going to see my brother's choir perform a musical of "Elijah" at his church.
And last but most important, I am once again a "Great Aunt". My nephew Peder & Sarah had a baby boy yesterday. He will be the little brother of the cutest little girl, Aurelia. I will be looking forward to seeing them all on Memorial Day in Austin.
