My Aunt and Uncle live in Lowell, Indiana which is about 50 miles south of Chicago.
On Sunday morning we went to Crown Point to church with them. After the service we went over to Joliet, Illinois where my sister lived some years ago. We ate lunch at a really neat restaurant called, White Fence Farm. We have eaten there before and it is great. After that we drove past two of the former places that they lived. We then visited with one of the neighbors they lived across from.
Back in Lowell, we had dinner with my cousin Dave, Cheryl, daughter Lorna and her boyfriend Nick. It was a fun time. Lorna is beautiful. She has/is a model, and also works in a hospital drawing blood ( I was afraid of murdering the correct term).
On Monday morning my cousin Linda who lives in Chicago came down, and she joined my sister, cousin Pat and myself for a shopping trip to Crown Point. We really had a good time. Lots of Antique shops, a great lunch and lots of laughs.
Back in Lowell, my cousin, Diane, Dave, and two of their grandson's had arrived from New Jersey. Next came Diane's daughter, Jill, her husband Jake and sweet little Hazel (named after my grandma). They live in Denver. And then having survived driving with a newborn baby and a severe storm came Diane's other daughter Emily, Ross and 4 week old Sophia.
On Tuesday, we all gathered at Dave and Cherly's beautiful home west of Lowell. We had a wonderful lunch, lots of visiting , some went swimming in the pool, and lots of room for the little ones to play. Then a great dinner and the reunion was about to end.
We have a small family so these gatherings are all very important to us. And our wonderful Aunt Liz, who we talked about many, many times still furnished us with a nice van to travel in. We missed her so much.
As in many times before, I went to the subway level downtown Rochester to buy the Chicago Mix pop corn for our trip.

I loved this recap of our reunion trip, Janet. The pictures are good, too.
These are great pictures and a good summary. When I saw the picture of the popcorn I thought to myself "damn popcorn." I could not quit eating it.
