Relaxing Day off!

My Sweet Adeline convention is over and now my chorus show is over also. It was last Saturday. We had two shows so it took up almost the entire day. It was fun, but also a lot of work. Now tonite is our annual banquet and we have had it for quite a few years at a restaurant a little out of town sitting right on a lake. It is a wonderful view and very good food. We give out some awards and also give our Director and Asst. gifts.

We have signed up to sing at three different churches this summer, one in each month for both services. We also sing at the Winona County fair and run a bingo booth on saturday, and also at our Olmsted county fair.

Jerry and I are both enjoying our new Charter Communication set up. We have our phone system, TV and computers all on the same. It takes a little time getting used to something different though.

Bobby had surgery to have stones removed from Gall Bladder and repair of a hernia last Friday. I was off today as I am working a shift this coming saturday, so Lynn and Bobby picked me up and we went to Dover where Bobby had a hair cut and I had a Pedicure. This is what they gave me for Mother's Day along with lunch at the Amish Market Square. Bobby is doin much better today.

On Mother's Day I received a nice phone call from Keith. In the afternoon, Lynn and family came out and Jerry grilled steaks, Lynn brought a jello salad, I made a Pea's and cheese salad and a Cinnamon Bundt cake. Sounds like everyone had a very nice day.

Jerry traded in his Saturn Ion last week for a cute little Red VW Rabbit. He is still driving shuttle for VW and sees a lot of people he knows from all over. Yesterday he gave David De For a ride after he had dropped off Donna's VW for annual check up.

Not too much else new around here. Just always busy with something.
