Jerry and I went to Austin to attend the memorial service for Erna De For yesterday. It was a very nice service. Lots of wonderful stories and memorys. It was so nice to see CeCe and meet one of her sons, Michael. We also saw some of the Austin church friends from when we grew up.
Along I-90 on our way to Austin the leaves were starting to change. It was really beautiful. I really do love the fall. Having windows open at night and actually covering up with a blanket is so good. I hope the color is still good when some of us take a trip down the Mississippi in a few weeks.
My chorus had a performance at St Marys hospital in the rehab unit on Tuesday of this week. The patients in this unit are so appreciative. Some of them are here for a very long time and their families just can't take off work to be here with them. It makes what we do as a chorus seem so worthwhile. We also have sang at the Transplant house recently.
My kids/Grandkids are all doing well and stay very busy.
