What a fun birthday it was to spend time with some of my family. My cousin, Linda, came up from Chicago. She was at my cousin, Diane's, her sister. I went up to my Aunt Liz's and my cousin Pat and I went to Diane's for a wonderful lunch and a delicious Angel Food cake with berries and whip cream. We visited the afternoon and when Diane's husband Dave came home we went to a very nice restaurant in Blaine, called Carol's. Also meeting us there was Diane's daughter Emmily, her husband Ross and their adorable baby Ethan.
Ethan is 9 months old and really cute.
We were planning on driving all of us over to Bloomington to meet my sister, Donna and her daughter-in-law Sarah and cute little Relia. We decided against that as the weather was very nasty. We missed being able to see them.
On Wed. afternoon, Linda, Pat, Aunt Liz and I went to downtown St Paul to the Childrens Museum. We went to a Imax theatre and saw two 1 hour shows. One was on California and the other was about the Great Lakes. We stopped at a Chinese Restaurant for dinner and then back to Aunt Liz's.
Today I drove over to Bloomington and met my sister for lunch and then I came home.
Tomorrow my cousin Linda is coming to Rochester and we are going to a play tomorrow night. She will leave for Chicago on Sunday morning.

This post makes it sound like a whirlwind busy birthday. I loved getting together. It was so much fun.
Looks like the weather is going to take a turn for the better. Also for 2-3 days the stock market has been on the upswing. Could this mean we are turning the corner into spring and better economic health? We can only hope.
