Beautiful decor in dining room

This was a really neat mini vacation with two of my friends. On Wed. of last week (19th/20th) I went to Preston, MN with my friend, Carol and one of her sisters from Spooner, WI. We checked into our room about noon. We stayed in the Detention Room at http://www.jailhouseinn.com/. It surely is a neat place to visit and stay.

Carol and Laurie had their bikes on a rack on Laurie's car, but the weather for both days was a huge chance for rain. We had a wonderful lunch at the Branding Iron in Preston. From there we went to Harmony, MN and shopped at the Amish Depot and a few other small stores. Then I took them out to see our dear Amish friend, Lavina Miller. We visited her and we each bought a few items.

We then headed north to Lansboro, MN. This drive is one of the most picture perfect drives I have ever seen. We went through a very heavy downpour, but just as we got to Lansboro, it stopped raining. It was close to 5 pm and some of the stores were closing so we went to a restaurant called "Peddle Pushers" and had dessert as we were still a little full from lunch. While there it rained again, but after the rain there was the most beautiful double rainbow I have ever seen. On our way back to Preston, we stopped at a place called "the Barn". I have been there before, but it has been quite a while.

When we returned to our B & B we sat out on the second story balcony off of our room. Our breakfast in the morning was marvelous. And the couple who run this Bed and Breakfast are so nice.

On Thursday we went back to Lansboro, parked the car on one end and walked to the other end and back. A couple of brief showers, but nothing major.
