Most of you followers know that I returned to the mall to sell Gift cards, just for the holidays. I did not however take the Lead position, and I am very glad of that decision.

We opened on Black Friday and had lots of technical issues. We also had one of the employees who had never worked at the mall before and was scheduled for the entire weekend call in with the flu.

I worked Friday, Sat., Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I found out how unfit I have become. The ankle of the leg I broke 21 years ago was very swollen and it stayed that way until I was off on Wed.

It has been fun seeing all of the mall walkers, managers and people who are at the mall a lot. They have all stopped and greeted me. And on Monday when we solved the issues we had been having it was so much nicer to be there.

We still have the most wonderful Santa ever, and I did get a nice big hug from him. Wish you all could meet him.

I have enjoyed being off for three days, and now I go back tomorrow plus having some kind of musical event going on in the next three weekends. Time really does fly by.
