Donna, Pat and I left around 11 o'clock & headed towards Phoenix. We had lunch at a place called Zupas.
After lunch we went to the Musicla Instrument Museum. It was really great. I didn't know that there were so many instruments in the world. It was a beautiful building. It had one room with instruments from the USA, one from Europe, Latin America, SE Asia, East Asia, So. & Central Asia, Africa and Middle East.
The web address is: theMIM.org
We wore headsets and each set up had a TV screen that sensed when you were there and played music or told about what you were viewing. One set had outfits belonging to Elvis and photo's and some of his gold records. Another had John Lennon and more.
Going back to Mesa we took a very scenic road through Fountain Hills. We then went to "Organ Stop Pizza" for dinner. We have gone there all three years and it is a very fun place. There is an organ that comes up from the floor of a round stage. They play sing along songs and take requests. Each time the organist plays for about 20 minutes and then takes 20 minutes off.
Another fun day!

I love that you girls don't just sit around and enjoy the sun when you are out there...you see what is available to see.
We did see and do some fun things, didn't we? I had a great time, too.
