The ship anchored @ 7 am. Pat and I were scheduled for an Immigration & Customs Inspection at 10 am. This was mandatory for everyone on the ship. After that we were tendered to shore.
We walked to the Post Office first. I mailed 4 pair of shoes, and a few gifts to my home. Then we walked to the Trinity Church. They were holding a Fall Festival.
We walked the quaint Thames street to the shopping mall. I sat and had lunch at Panera with a couple of people from our group. Pat walked down the area where Hans and Rachel lived some years ago. She took pictures and I'm sure will post soon. She is also going to send me her pictures. It was a beautiful day in Newport, RI.
The show at the Celebrity theatre was a Farewell Variety Show. It was wonderful.
